How long does it take to see results?

You should be able to notice observable reduction in hair fall within 2-4 weeks and new hair growth after using the products for approximately 3 month. However results may vary from one indidual to another.

Some users might experience increase in hair fall for 3-5 days of using the products. This is normal because in the initial stage, the renewal process of te hair follicles is sped up, thus the resting hairs are being shed off and new hair growth will occur.

Radiofrequency: Don't let sagging skin bring you down...

Sagging skin is a common complaint especially noted after childbirth and weight loss and may effect any parts of the body. In mild to moderate cases, skin laxity can be improve by utilizing radiofrequency treatment to the affected area.

Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment: Rejuvenation from within...



PRP treatment involves autologous plasma injection to the face

 PRP is a treatment that involves injecting a concentrated source of platelet rich plasma obtained from patient's own blood to into respective area of concern to promote tissue healing. PRP has been used not only for cosmetic purposes but also in treating orthopedic conditions such as joint degenerative conditions, tendonitis, plastic surgery, wound healing post surgery or burn injury to name a few.
PRP contains not only high concentrations of platelets but also seven different growth factors that stimulates tissue regeneration, collagen production and formation of new blood vessels to the treated area.

Plasma: remaining yellow blood component

PRP procedure involve withdrawing patient's own blood (~10cc) and centrifuging it to seperate the red blood cells from the plasma (yellow coloured blood component). The treatment will not yield an instanteneous result however will be appreciated over a period of time as the new collagen and tissue repair occurs. Fractional CO2 Resurfacing: Unearthing younger looking skin...

For among the most dramatic results in skin treatment, Fractional CO2 is one my favourite treatment option for patients whom are suffering from either dull, lax or photodamage skin and acne scars. Fractional CO2 is an ablative treatment where it involves burning the skin surface with small dotes that will eventually lead to collagen remodelling within the skin dermis layer. Due to this issue, expect downtime (recovery period) of approximately 1 week post treatment before you can appreciate the result. There will be redness and scabs formation one day after treatment and this will last throughout the healing process however once this period is over you'll notice marked improvement in the skin texture and appearance and you will be impressed with the result. The treatment should be repeated every 3-6 months depending on the condition treatment to achieve the optimum result.

Juvaderm Fillers: More than just filling in the gap...

Fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (gel-like substance) in which, when injected into the dermal layer of the skin will fill up furrows or wrinkles. Depending on the type of fillers, facial augmentation such as cheek, nose, chin and lip augmentation is also possible. Fillers that I prefer to use in my clinic is Juvaderm brand from Allergen (manufacturer of Botox) which provides a more long lasting effect on patients. The most popular demand on fillers would be for deep smile lines due to volume loss at the affected area. The filling and lifting effects on the line are quite dramatic and instantaneous. Like Botox, the corrective effects of Juvaderm is temporary and the duration is dependent on the type of Juvaderm fillers used, either Juvaderm Ultra, Ultra Plus or Voluma which all have different usage depending on the area treated and severity of wrinkles. You can expect the the fillers lasting from 1 year to 1 year and half before retouch are required.

Fastest aesthetic procedure that provides dramatic results

In Malaysia, Botox have been in a sticky situation because of a lot misconception which have led a lot of my patients into confusion, hence I've decided to write a bit on Botox for your better understanding...

Botox has been in the market for two decades and was intially used to treat patients suffering from conditions related with lazy eyes and uncontrolled blinking. Later it's therapeutic effects was extended to patients with cervical dystonia (severe condition causing painful muscle spasm of the neck), joint stiffness, muscle spaticity (due to cerebral palsy), severe migraine and excessive armpit or palm sweating (hyperhydrosis).

In 2002, Botox has been US FDA approved for medical aesthetic use and since then has been the most popular non surgical treatment for glabellar, forehead and crow feet wrinkles. These wrinkles are due to excessive facial muscle contraction and Botox works by weakening the respective muscles to achieve wrinkle free result.

The procedure is quick with dramatic results lasting for 3-4 month approximately before the muscle action is restored to normal again. Despite some popular belief, your wrinkle does not get worst after effects of Botox weans off, but instead the muscle action returns to its original condition prior to Botox injections and because you've been quite wrinkle-free, the return of muscle action will look significant. This is why patients will require repeat treatments every couple of months to sustain it's therapeutic affects.

Among the well established technology in aesthetics, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is a non ablative treatment (unlike lasers) in which it is a treatment that utilizes intense broad spectrum light to treat a number of skin conditions with great results. Examples of conditions treated with IPL are:
