Energist Variable Pulse Light Treatment

Among the well established technology in aesthetics, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is a non ablative treatment (unlike lasers) in which it is a treatment that utilizes intense broad spectrum light to treat a number of skin conditions with great results. Examples of conditions treated with IPL are:
  • Acne Vulgaris
  • Rosacea
  • Epidermal Pigmentations
  • Sunspots
  • Rejuvenation (fine wrinkles, pores)
  • Broken Veins
  • Permanent Hair Reduction

The treatment is performed by delivery of short burst of bright light to the targeted area with minimal discomfort, if any, to the patient. Patients may feel sensation such as short burst of heat to even rubber band snapping on the skin however this is dependent on the setting in which the treatment is performed.

Post procedure, mild redness may be anticipated if any (especially with hair reduction treatment) which is tolerable to most of our patients. Multiple treatment sessions are expected (6-8 sessions average) with interval of 2-4 weeks between one treatment to the other.
